Sustainable Warwick Meeting

We hope everyone enjoyed a great 4th of July weekend. We’d like to pass along some news of interest.

1. Our Triple Win Community Solar Campaign concludes in 9 days. Community solar is for just about everyone who has an electric bill but doesn’t have their own solar panels. Please pass the word to your neighbors and friends about this great opportunity to win by helping the environment, win by saving money on electricity bills, and win by getting a nice contribution made to one of six beloved Warwick nonprofits. 2. The Repair Cafe is Back! The Warwick Repair Cafe (which is now officially under the umbrella of Hudson Valley Repair Cafe and Sustainable Hudson Valley) will be open for repairs on Saturday, July 17. See their flyer for more details.

3. Mark your calendar! The July Sustainable Warwick meeting will take place at the Town Park on Union Corners Road on Wednesday, July 21. This month we’ll hold a vegetarian/vegan potluck dinner at 6:00 PM in honor of the graduating seniors from our Green Futures group. The Regular meeting will start at 7:30 PM.
