More on the “Beyond Jazz” project, with concert, this Sunday. Albert Buckbee Center, 2 Colonial Ave, Warwick NY. ( former library building, same road as 94 and Main Street, now The Warwick Historical Society).
Beyond. Jazz is a 6 to 7 pc ensemble performing live on the spot improvised music. Influences range from jazz rock, R&B, reggae, electronica and others.
The ensemble works as a collective unit, listening, supporting one another’s ideas creating a soundscape or audio track. Each performance is unique and never intentionally duplicated. We do however record many of our shows. Below is our current digital release, a combination of concerts from the past year:
