The July Exhibit at the Amity Gallery presents “Dreamscapes” the multi-media works from Warwick, NY-based printmaker Sharon Lindenfeld. Beginning with observational drawings and past print works, she engages small moments from one piece to form the basis of another, creating vast, dreamlike spaces. The images are repeatedly altered through various printmaking, hand, and digital processes, including etching, engraving, painting, collage, Photoshop, and artificial intelligence, allowing for spaces to emerge and transform. Creating landscape in this prolonged way of etching, carving and reimagining echoes geological processes such as erosion and metamorphism.
Lindenfeld has worked as an editions printer in NYC print workshops and currently teaches at Montclair University. Her prints have been exhibited nationally and internationally in NYC, Chicago, Hawaii, London, Vienna and Krakow. (sharonlindenfeld.com)

The evening includes specialty cocktails provided by Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery and the Last Whisky Bar, a catered dinner by the renowned Landmark Inn, fine wine courtesy of Peck’s Wine & Spirits, and an array of interesting silent and chance auction items up for bid, donated from individuals and local businesses.

Join us almost every Friday for line dancing lessons, open to all skill levels! Plus, every alternate Friday we’ve got Blues Night with the TeeVee Allstars. Bring your instrument, your voice, your family and friends, and play along or hang out with us and enjoy the music!
