Good news! The co-sponsored Warwick Valley Waste Not Survey has been finalized. The overall aim is to determine how many of the waste reduction programs and activities offered in our area, and beyond, are known and used by residents, as well as assess interest in potential programs. Ultimately, we’d like to find ways to reduce our local waste footprint. The survey results will be very beneficial in helping Sustainable Warwick gather and evaluate that information.
As you know, the anonymous survey is being co-sponsored by The Town of Warwick, and the Villages of Florida, Greenwood Lake and Warwick. We encourage all residents to participate. Non-residents who are interested in taking part may also do so.
The survey has officially gone live! Below are survey links on the Sustainable Warwick website:
We encourage others to post links to the digital survey on their websites and social media feeds. At the end of the digital survey, respondents will find a link to the survey resources page.
For those who prefer a written survey, they can get a copy at Town Hall, any of the three Village Halls, and the three local libraries; those locations will also serve as collection sites for completed surveys.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you in advance for helping to spread the word!
