They are known for many things, like famous FREE beginner ski and snowboard school, great snow making and expert grooming, an awesome terrain park, top-notch racing and development programs, and family atmosphere. Meanwhile, the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is a volunteer-powered organization that builds, maintains, and protects public trails that begin within walking distance of Lake Lodging Motel.

  I zeroed here on my thru-hike of the AT last year and the owners were so nice to me! I even gave me a little cupcake for my birthday. Nice and clean, definitely recommended

  As hiker friendly as they come! And dog friendly tooooo! Rooms are darling. Very reasonable rates. They were extremely accommodating with my shuttling needs and will slack-pack. They even did my laundry! I'm so glad I zeroed here!

*Edited to add: Jim even picked us up from a trailhead after midnight when my dog tasted a porcupine. He offered to drive us to an emergency vet. Jim and Ingrid bend over backwards for their hikers and I could not be more grateful.

PS The poor review for this establishment is obviously a one-off crapshoot with a personal agenda.

I love this place so much that dog and I are going to start making Christmas cards, just so we can send one to Jim and Ingrid. These people are that wonderful.

  Stayed here on a rainy night in June while doing an AT thru-hike. Owner is just terrific, will pick up and drop off, does your laundry. Nice town, everything you could need in walking distance. Rooms a bit small, but neat, well-kept and clean. Highly recommended.

  I stayed here back on June 23rd, while I was thru hiking the Appalachian Trail. The owner came and picked us up from the trailhead, free of charge, did our stinky laundry, and even picked up another friend who wasn't even staying there. The room was very clean, and the stay was very nice. Such a great little place in a cute small town. I wouldn't hesitate to ever stay here again. Thank you for the hospitality!

  I rated as 3 stars. You really cannot compare to current chain motels. Older style but renovated. It suited the purpose. A shortstop at a reasonable price for the location. There is a hikers box there since it is on the Appalachian trail. Family run. I would stay again.

Warwick Drive-In is a favorite among hikers who can camp there while enjoying a movie. And Pin Street Bowling, a short walk from the Drive-In, offers great indoor amusement alternatives.

Rowing & Boat Rentals

The East Arm Rowing Club is open to members who are both seasoned and novice rowers of all ages. Guests can rent kayaks, paddle boards, and pontoon boats on Greenwood Lake from local businesses.

Warwick is filled with Pick-Your-Own apple orchards from September-November. And don’t miss the Lakeside Farmers Market in Greenwood Lake, June-October each year, featuring an amazing array of gourmet foods and fresh produce.
