Who We Are 
Our organization is a nonprofit 501(c) organization committed to the athletic and academic improvement of our children.  Our goal is to not only teach the fundamentals of the sport, but to promote sportsmanship and teamwork, encourage each child to be confident and successful in their own development and ensure that the family has a positive experience. Vernon Youth Football & Cheerleading, Inc., (“VYFC”) was incorporated as a New Jersey not-for-profit corporation on  November 17, 1993 under State of New Jersey corporate charter number ________. VYFC is exempted from federal income tax by the Internal Revenue Service in 1978, pursuant to IRC Section 501(c)(3). Federal identifying number is 223-244-156/00. Exempted from State of New Jersey Sales Tax as a designated “youth organization.” The Vernon Youth Football & Cheerleading Vikings is a founding member of the North Jersey Youth Football League (NJYFL), comprised of eight youth football organizations in Sussex and Passaic Counties.
What We Do 
The goal of our organization is to provide a safe and fun opportunity for the kids of our community to learn and improve their skills and abilities in both football and cheerleading.  Since 1993, we have been among the leaders in youth football and cheerleading in North Jersey.  Many of our kids have gone on to play high school and college football.
