Warwick Valley Central School district is pleased to announce a community partnership opportunity for local businesses. As an extension of the Video Production Career and Technology Education initiative at the high school, student production teams are seeking to create video content for area businesses. Their first meeting with businesses will be May 5th, the suggested donation for your video content is $350 for your which will be used to fund an annual CTE Scholarship at WVCSD. Program Overview
INITIAL CLIENT MEETING: The plan is for the Albert Wisner Community Library will host our first meeting on May 5th @ 12:30 PM in their downstairs community room. Your production team will meet with you to collect the information and ideas for your video.
LOCATION VISIT: Your production team will visit your location over the period of May 6 through May 12 to gain a better understanding of the visuals that are possible.
FOLLOW-UP CLIENT MEETING: The plan is for the Albert Wisner Community Library will host our second meeting on May 19th @ 12:30 PM in their downstairs community room. Your production team will present their copy & storyboard for your approval. Subsequent changes will be made and sent out electronically for approval.
LOCATION SHOOTING: Depending upon the variables, each business will coordinate through the WVHS Video Production Instructor the actual date and time of recording. It is the intent of this program to have all shoots occur by the end of May.
VIDEO REVEAL: Completed videos will be shown at a “reveal gathering” at the WVTV studio located at Warwick Valley High School on Friday 6/10 @ 9:30 AM.
