We will welcome Piffaro, The Renaissance Group. We can’t tell you how mucj we are looking forward to seeing these musicians and their ancient instruments and hearing them as they were intended to be heard, with their sound bouncing off ancient stone walls. The Wind Player’s Delight: Music through the Ages, Priscilla Herreid, Grant Herreid, and Sian Ricketts will present a popgram of music spanning the 13th-17th centuries. Virtuosic medieval dances, exquisite polyphony, and music written at the dawn of the baroque era: Piffaro’s pied-pipers of early music will work their way though a music evolution, while showing off some of their massive collection of wind (and string) instruments.
