On the Lawn” is the Hudson Valley’s premire summer concert series. Thousands have enjoyed the variety of musical offerings over the past seasons.

 

Sugar Loaf Crossing is located on the crossing of the railroad tracks over Kings Highway (near the Sugar Loaf Post Office). Concerts are Thursdays from 6:30-8:30. They are held on the lawn at Sugar Loaf Crossing and are free to the public. Concert goers are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, family and friends. George Washington Day 5K Run/Walk @ Veterans Memorial Park

GW Day 5K! and Fun Run5K Fun run

Dash down the streets of the Village of Warwick in the 3rd Annual GW Day 5K and Fun Run, beginning and ending in Veterans Memorial Park, 29 Forester Ave., Warwick. This year’s race is bigger and better, with the course certified a 5K by the USA Track and Field Association!

Enjoy the only course through the Village, past historic landmarks and through the beautiful park. Take photos with “George and Martha Washington” and feel the camaraderie and spirit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Registration opens April 30, $25 to participate, registration fee increases to $30 from July 1 to 22. The race begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Baird Tavern AtticWarwick, NY – The Warwick Historical Society invites the community to celebrate its 119th birthday with a special open house on Sunday, April 6, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This free event offers a rare opportunity to explore several of Warwick’s most treasured historic properties and learn more about the Society’s work in preserving local history.

Have you ever wanted to step inside The Meeting House, visit Warwick’s oldest residence, The Shingle House, or tour the beautifully recreated 1810 Ketchum House? Now is your chance! Volunteer docents will be on hand at each location to share fascinating stories and historical insights about these remarkable sites.

Start your journey at the A.W. Buckbee Events Center, where guests can pick up maps of the open properties, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and meet members of the Society’s Board and staff. Learn about volunteer opportunities, membership, and the important work of preserving Warwick’s history for future generations.

The Party in the Park is a favorite tradition, evolving from a potluck picnic to a refreshing evening soiree. Tickets are $115 for WHS members, $140 for non-members. Call 845-986-3236 for tickets and information.

The evening includes specialty cocktails provided by Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery and the Last Whisky Bar, a catered dinner by the renowned Landmark Inn, fine wine courtesy of Peck’s Wine & Spirits, and an array of interesting silent and chance auction items up for bid, donated from individuals and local businesses.

Tickets are on Sale now, $80 for WHS members, $100 for non-members includes a Friend level membership and its perks.
