
Lots of fun things happening in Pine Island this summer. Drowned Lands Historical Society will host a free, family friendly event in Pine Island Park this Thursday July 15th from 6:00 until dusk to showcase fossils, artifacts etc lead by a team of experts, historians, and geologists. You will be able to purchase merchandise from our website for a limited time that will be specially made for our Chamber. Stay tuned for details about the art installation coming to Pine Island Park. Pine Island Taphouse will be having their grand opening this Saturday July 17th at 12:00. Earth Fest, a free one-day public art event celebrating Earth Day returns to Stanley Deming Park, Warwick on April 30th, noon to 5pm. This delightful spring arts festival produced by Wickham Works, features large scale puppets and sculptural works made from recycled material by our eight commissioned artists, making stations where participants can join the artists to create upcycled wearable art, carnival style games, puppet shows and a junk instrument-making workshop by Modern Times Theater – recipients of a Jim Henson Foundation 2022 grant, and a Grand Rumpus finale. Rain date Sun. May 1st.
