
St. Stephen’s Women’s Retreat April 2 & 3 Sacred Heart Center, Newton, NJ Fr. Glenn Sudano, CFR, a well known retreat director, will be offering a 2-day Lenten Retreat for the women of St. Stephen’s parish, April 2 – 3, 2022. The retreat will be held at Sacred Heart Center, Newton, NJ.
The cost is $140.00 per person which includes one night stay in a private room with private bath, and 5 hot meals. This retreat will be a perfect way to prepare spiritually for Holy Week and Easter Sunday. Registration is due on March 14, 2022. Space is limited. Registration forms are available in the atrium. GW Day 5K! and Fun Run
Dash down the streets of the Village of Warwick in the 3rd Annual GW Day 5K and Fun Run, beginning and ending in Veterans Memorial Park, 29 Forester Ave., Warwick. This year’s race is bigger and better, with the course certified a 5K by the USA Track and Field Association!
Enjoy the only course through the Village, past historic landmarks and through the beautiful park. George Washington Day Public Open House and Tour
Enjoy a free public tour of select WHS properties at the annual George Washington Day celebration, commemorating the General’s visit to Warwick in 1782. Visit the Shingle House complex, 7-9 Forester Avenue, and talk with local historians as they share stories of the people and circumstances which helped shape this wonderful Town. Warwick, NY – The Warwick Historical Society invites the community to celebrate its 119th birthday with a special open house on Sunday, April 6, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. This free event offers a rare opportunity to explore several of Warwick’s most treasured historic properties and learn more about the Society’s work in preserving local history.
Have you ever wanted to step inside The Meeting House, visit Warwick’s oldest residence, The Shingle House, or tour the beautifully recreated 1810 Ketchum House? Now is your chance! Volunteer docents will be on hand at each location to share fascinating stories and historical insights about these remarkable sites.
Start your journey at the A.W. Buckbee Events Center, where guests can pick up maps of the open properties, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and meet members of the Society’s Board and staff. Learn about volunteer opportunities, membership, and the important work of preserving Warwick’s history for future generations.
