The Warwick St. Patrick’s Parade Committee is delighted to announce that the annual parade celebrating Irish heritage, culture and tradition as well as the shared immigrant experience of most Americans regardless of ethnicity will take place on March 9, 2025. Our parade welcomes all through that shared lens at the same time we celebrate the long and storied history of the Irish in America and their accomplishments and contributions.
The committee is actively seeking sponsors and donors to defray the cost of parade essentials. Sponsorships can be had through a $150.00 donation and the sponsor can have their business or personal message included on our social media page as well as in a virtual journal that will be shown at the post-parade reception. Donations can be made in any amount. In our fourth year, this parade has grown with participants and spectators each year and we are already planning for the fifth annual parade which will be held on March 8, 2026.

Wickham Works is gearing up for Treecycle 2025, a free Earth Day arts festival in Stanley Deming Park in the Village of Warwick on Saturday, April 26, 1 to 5 p.m. (rain date April 27).
Treecyle features creative reuse installations, art activities, live performances and information booths on local sustainability initiatives in the Warwick Valley. The festival is suitable for all ages.
2025 special features
Special features this year include the following:
• Arm of the Sea Puppet Theater’s “Riparian Rhapsody” (3 p.m.). The show dives into the region’s ecology to reveal the intricate interactions between forest and stream and lyrically advocates for protecting streamside buffer zones, with stunning visuals, live music, and a singing bear. Sponsorship is provided by Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes and the Albert Wisner Public Library.
• Performance by Moving Company Modern Dance (2:30 p.m.).
• A visit from Mother Nature puppet.
• Unveiling of a new sculpture from Village of Warwick Artist-in-Residence Nicole Hixon.
• Live painting of a community-inspired mural in the park.
• Hands-on craft activities.
Teaming up
In preparation for Treecycle, Wickham Works teams up with local schools and community centers. Together, they transform the park with art exhibits created by commissioned artists in community workshops.
This year, artists Lisa Cullen (“Tube Snake Boogie”) and Christina LeBar (“Community Garden”) created their work with the help of people of all ages and abilities at the Warwick Valley Community Center and Albert Wisner Public Library.
Jenny Torino (“Felting for the Future”) and Rachel Berg (“Tree of Life”) produced their installations in workshops with teens and pre-teens from the Alamo Sunriver Health Community Center’s after-school program run by the Warwick Area Farmworkers Organization.
Elizabeth Laule reached out to local students to help make a piece of community art — “Warwick In/Community/In Warwick” — that will be turned into a new mural for the park.
Artist Karen Decher will introduce a new processional puppet, “Mother Earth.”
Nicole Hixon, in her role as this year’s Warwick Village Artist-in-Residence, will unveil a temporary large-scale organic sculpture, “The Divine Feminine, Feeding Nature.”
Art as a catalyst
Treecycle uses the arts to bring the community together to educate, support sustainability initiatives and raise awareness of threats facing our environment. The festival is also a showcase for local environmental groups such as Sustainable Warwick, Orange County Land Trust and Orange Environment.
Treecycle is produced by Wickham Works with sponsorship from the Village of Warwick and is supported by a grant from the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area. This project is made possible with funds from the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.

Warwick Rod & Gun Club will stock approximately 400 trout in the small lake that’s part of the Baird Farm on Baird Lane in Warwick, NY. This annual event awards a prize to each participant, regardless of whether or not s/he caught a fish, which include fishing rod and reel combos, tackle boxes, lures and other outdoor recreation items.
The event is supported by many area businesses and community organizations who donate funds and prizes for the day.

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL LOCATED?
The Warwick Food Truck Festival is located at Mountain Lake Park (“The Old Kutz Camp”), 46 Bowen Road in Warwick, New York.
WILL THE FESTIVAL STILL HAPPEN EVEN IF IT RAINS?
Yes! The fest is open rain or shine, and we choose shine! Bring your sunglasses or an umbrella! In the event of rain, indoor seating will be available.
WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH PARKING?
Parking is available at Mountain Lake Park, including designated handicap spaces.

Most vendors will accept credit cards, however fest admissions is cash only.

Absolutely! We welcome your furry friends! Please keep them leashed and remember to pick up too!

Yes! We provide covered seating in Mountain Lake Park’s beautiful lakeside pavilion. You’ll also want to BYO lawn chairs, beach chairs and picnic blankets. The park offers lots of gorgeous green and grassy hills plus lakeside space to relax and enjoy the day!
IS THE FESTIVAL HANDICAP FRIENDLY?
Yes! We welcome everyone. The festival will have a handicap parking area close to the entrance. Please note that Mountain Lake Park is a grassy and hilly space, so plan accordingly for your safety and comfort.
ARE THERE RESTROOMS AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?
Yes, Mountain Lake Park has restroom facilities on site, including handicap-accessible facilities. Additionally, porta-potties will be available throughout the park.

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL LOCATED?
The Warwick Food Truck Festival is located at Mountain Lake Park (“The Old Kutz Camp”), 46 Bowen Road in Warwick, New York.
WILL THE FESTIVAL STILL HAPPEN EVEN IF IT RAINS?
Yes! The fest is open rain or shine, and we choose shine! Bring your sunglasses or an umbrella! In the event of rain, indoor seating will be available.
WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH PARKING?
Parking is available at Mountain Lake Park, including designated handicap spaces.
IS THIS A CASH ONLY FESTIVAL?
Most vendors will accept credit cards, however fest admissions is cash only.
IS THIS A DOG FRIENDLY FESTIVAL?
Absolutely! We welcome your furry friends! Please keep them leashed and remember to pick up too!
IS THERE SEATING AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?
Yes! We provide covered seating in Mountain Lake Park’s beautiful lakeside pavilion. You’ll also want to BYO lawn chairs, beach chairs and picnic blankets. The park offers lots of gorgeous green and grassy hills plus lakeside space to relax and enjoy the day!
IS THE FESTIVAL HANDICAP FRIENDLY?
Yes! We welcome everyone. The festival will have a handicap parking area close to the entrance. Please note that Mountain Lake Park is a grassy and hilly space, so plan accordingly for your safety and comfort.
ARE THERE RESTROOMS AVAILABLE AT THE FESTIVAL?
Yes, Mountain Lake Park has restroom facilities on site, including handicap-accessible facilities. Additionally, porta-potties will be available throughout the park.

The annual Onion Festival will take place this year on Sunday, August. 31, at the beautiful PLAV pavilion in Pine Island.
Eighteen-time Grammy winner Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra along with the Annual Onion Eating Contest, sponsored by the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce. Everyone always enjoyes this contest, plus the winner receives a cash prize award. Get there early and enjoy the wonderful food. Doors open at 12 noon.
The Festival is held rain or shine plus there’s plenty of FREE parking. Music starts at 2PM. Jimmy and the band started playing the Original Onion Festival back in 1964. They ahve played every festival since. Advance tickets are on sale. The festival always draws a huge crowd so get there early and bring your lawn chair.

35th annual Warwick Applefest: More than 200 craft vendors, dozens of food vendors, nonprofit exhibitors, live music and entertainment, children’s carnival, farmers market, village shopping and an apple pie baking contest. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking available outside the village with shuttles to/from the festival. Held throughout the village of Warwick along South Street, Main Street, Railroad Avenue and Stanley Deming Park.

This booklet contains schedules of Applefest events, transportation information, directories for craft/food vendors, wineries, u-pick apples, a user-friendly map of the festival area, ads for local businesses, and more.
