- Sun Sep 10, 2023: Greenwood Lake 5K Run/Walk:
On Sunday September 10th 2023, from 9:00am – 12:00pm GWL Skatepark Corp. will host their first “DoItForDale!” 5K Run/Walk which will begin at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park and take a course through the village of Greenwood Lake, New York. Registration time: 8:00am, Race start time: 9:00am. The early-bird cost to enter is $25.00 AND HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 1. Early-bird registrants will receive their complementary shirt on race day.After 9/1 and up until race day, registration cost will increase to $30.00.
Working in partnership with the Village of Greenwood Lake and Super Race Systems, a professional race organizer, the event is open to both professional and fun runners / walkers. All runners will receive a commemorative T-Shirt, race bib and timing device with their registration.
All profits from the race will be donated to the GWL Skatepark Corporation a registered 501c3 charity in their continued efforts to raise the necessary funds to construct a professional concrete skatepark in the town of Greenwood Lake which will benefit the local and surrounding communities.

- Warwick, NYWarwick is planning to build a significant skatepark within the village of Warwick, and will be scheduling a series of fund-raising events in order to begin work on initial stages of the project. Our next fundraiser will be an info and donation table at Baird’s Tavern for Broadway Night on Monday, May 2nd. Warwick Skatepark Initiative Paver Program brochures and Biz Sponsorship take-ways will be available and we welcome donations to support the new skatepark.

Raise a Glass to History at Tavern Night 2025 at Baird’s TavernWarwick, NY – The Warwick Historical Society, in partnership with Baird’s Tavern, invites the community to step back in time for an evening of history, camaraderie, and great food at Tavern Night 2025. This highly anticipated annual event will take place on Thursday, March 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Baird’s Tavern, one of Warwick’s most iconic and historic landmarks. Guests will enjoy a lively evening filled with specialty pub fare, beer or wine, and classic tavern games in the very space where George Washington once raised a glass and where Martha Washington spent the night. As a special highlight, docents will be on hand on the tavern’s second floor and attic, typically closed to the public, sharing captivating facts of the tavern’s incredible past, including its colonial visitors, Revolutionary War intrigue, and even chilling ghostly encounters. Tickets include pub-style food, beer or wine, and access to the historic second floor and attic. Admission is $45 for Warwick Historical Society members and $55 for non-members. Tickets will be available at the door, but advance purchase is recommended and can be purchased online via the calendar page at www.warwickhistory.org. Party in the Park
The Party in the Park is a favorite tradition, evolving from a potluck picnic to a refreshing evening soiree. Tickets are $115 for WHS members, $140 for non-members. Call 845-986-3236 for tickets and information.

The evening includes specialty cocktails provided by Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery and the Last Whisky Bar, a catered dinner by the renowned Landmark Inn, fine wine courtesy of Peck’s Wine & Spirits, and an array of interesting silent and chance auction items up for bid, donated from individuals and local businesses.
