Support the PI Volunteer Ambulance Corp at their 4th annual Trunk or Treat in Pine Island Park

- Sun Sep 10, 2023: Greenwood Lake 5K Run/Walk:
On Sunday September 10th 2023, from 9:00am – 12:00pm GWL Skatepark Corp. will host their first “DoItForDale!” 5K Run/Walk which will begin at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park and take a course through the village of Greenwood Lake, New York. Registration time: 8:00am, Race start time: 9:00am. The early-bird cost to enter is $25.00 AND HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 1. Early-bird registrants will receive their complementary shirt on race day.After 9/1 and up until race day, registration cost will increase to $30.00.
Working in partnership with the Village of Greenwood Lake and Super Race Systems, a professional race organizer, the event is open to both professional and fun runners / walkers. All runners will receive a commemorative T-Shirt, race bib and timing device with their registration.
All profits from the race will be donated to the GWL Skatepark Corporation a registered 501c3 charity in their continued efforts to raise the necessary funds to construct a professional concrete skatepark in the town of Greenwood Lake which will benefit the local and surrounding communities.

- Warwick, NYWarwick is planning to build a significant skatepark within the village of Warwick, and will be scheduling a series of fund-raising events in order to begin work on initial stages of the project. Our next fundraiser will be an info and donation table at Baird’s Tavern for Broadway Night on Monday, May 2nd. Warwick Skatepark Initiative Paver Program brochures and Biz Sponsorship take-ways will be available and we welcome donations to support the new skatepark.
“Beyond Jazz”, a flexible member musical improv group will give a concert on Sunday Dec 17 at The Buckbe Center, 2 Colonial Ave in Warwick at 4 PM.

Apr 8 Warwick Easter Egg Hunt, 10 a.m.: The Easter Bunny will greet egg hunters at the Village of Warwick Veterans Memorial Park. Egg hunters will divide into three age groups: 3 and under, 4-6 years old and 7-12 years old. Prizes will be awarded for each age group for finding the golden egg. For admission, please bring a non-perishable food item to support the Warwick Food Pantry. Address: 29 Forester Ave, Warwick, N.Y.

Apr 14 Bunny Art in the Park: Bring children to construct an Easter Bunny made out of paper plates, pipe cleaners, pom-poms, googly-eyes, markets, and paper. Supplies are provided. The event is desigtnedd for those age 5 and younger, and starts at 10:30AM. Location: Vernon Senior Center, 21 Church St., Vernon, Twp.
Party in the Park
The Party in the Park is a favorite tradition, evolving from a potluck picnic to a refreshing evening soiree. Tickets are $115 for WHS members, $140 for non-members. Call 845-986-3236 for tickets and information.
Lewis Park in the Village of Warwick
Black and White Garden Gala, 1900-1930’s Theme Attire and Accessories encouraged but not required.
The evening includes specialty cocktails provided by Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery and the Last Whisky Bar, a catered dinner by the renowned Landmark Inn, fine wine courtesy of Peck’s Wine & Spirits, and an array of interesting silent and chance auction items up for bid, donated from individuals and local businesses.
Tickets are on Sale now, $80 for WHS members, $100 for non-members includes a Friend level membership and its perks.
