Enjoy a beautiful June afternoon on our grounds surrounded by hors d’oeuvres, wine & beer, a signature cocktail, and live jazz and ragtime music performed by Miss Maybell & the Jazz Age Artistes!
Miss Maybell & The Jazz Age Artistes are a NYC based band playing a large repertoire of traditional Jazz, Ragtime and Blues from the early part of the 20th century. They source their tunes from dusty old 78rpm records and antique sheet music and give new life to songs created over 100 years ago! With this unique sound and dedication they were recently featured on The NPR Show “Person, Place, Thing” With Randy Cohen. The group is composed of some of NYC’s best Vintage Jazz players, such as Charlie Judkins on piano, Brian Nalepka on bass and Tuba, and Miss Maybell on Voice, Washboard, Banjo and Guitar.
Please RSVP to this unique event! Tickets are $35 for one or $65 for two. You can either drop off payment at the parish office or pay at the door.
With your ticket comes food, beverages and, of course, the entertainment! Hand-rolled cigars will be available for purchase as well.
Please come…it’ll jazz up your day!
Our signature cocktail: The Ragtime
Created in 2009 by Jeremy James Thompson at Reines Law Rooms in New York, the Ragtime cocktail is a bittersweet delight. Originally made with Rittenhouse Bonded Rye, this drink blends Ramazzotti Amaro, Aperol, Peychaud’s Bitters & an Absinthe rinse.

“Miss Maybell plays banjo and taps her steel brushes on a tricked-out washboard. She also commands an impressive kazoo, but the secret weapon they unleash is Maybell’s vocals — deep and strong enough to join an angel choir with the likes of Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday.”
