35th annual Warwick Applefest: More than 200 craft vendors, dozens of food vendors, nonprofit exhibitors, live music and entertainment, children’s carnival, farmers market, village shopping and an apple pie baking contest. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking available outside the village with shuttles to/from the festival. Join us, in person or virtually, for our 20th Anniversary Celebration at the magnificent Mulder Chapel. It features three of our Grand Scholarship recipients, Ryan Soeyadi, pianist and Esther Chae, cellist, Shavon Lloyd, Baritone, plus three consummate professionals: Charles Mokotoff, classical guitarist, E’lissa Jones, violinist, singer/songwriter, and John Cimino, baritone.
This will be music on a very high level, plus the event will be catered by Allan’s Falafel of Chester NY. Doors will open at 1:30 and we’ll feed you (come hungry) until 2:30 when the concert will begin with Charles Mokotoff, then Ryan Soeyadi, Esther Chae, Shavon Lloyd , and John Cimino. At 3:30 we’ll take a 30 minute intermission. You can revisit the food area. At 4PM we’ll continue the concert with a special surprise guest followed by E’lissa Jones who will close out the show.
Throughout the event you can bid on the auction items which will include an acoustic guitar signed by Bob Dylan, another one signed by Bruce Springsteen, an electric guitar signed by Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton & others. Plus you’ll be able to bid on vacation packages to Europe, Mexico and Indonesia. This event will satisfy you in mind, heart, body and soul. Truly a one of kind music/culinary experience.

Storytelling Action Team announces the return of two popular programs – A Day in the Life and Warwick Story Share — both taking place in November at the Albert Wisner Public Library.
A Day in the Life – Wednesday, Nov. 5 (6:00–7:30 p.m.) – This engaging program spotlights three Warwick residents who will share the joys and challenges of their work and passions. Speakers include Mitch Lillian, a Hollywood movie production key grip; Craig Roberts, a Woodstock Museum docent who brings new life to a historic event; and Samantha Walter, recreation director at Mountain Lake Park. Attendees will hear what a typical day in each of their lives looks and feels like and will have an opportunity to ask questions and share reflections. Audience: Teens and Adults.
Warwick Story Share #8 – Friday, Nov. 14 (7:00–9:00 p.m.) – This community event celebrates the art of personal storytelling. About a dozen Warwick residents will share five-minute “story nuggets” — short accounts of moments that shaped or stayed with them through life. The result is an evening of heartfelt, humorous, and thought-provoking stories that invite laughter, reflection, and sometimes even a few tears. Community members are also welcome to take part as storytellers. No experience is required — just a willingness to share a meaningful slice of life. Whether a story is funny, poignant, or quietly powerful, all are received in a spirit of respect and connection. Warwick Home for the Holidays
It’s that time of year and once again everyone is invited to come on down.
The kick-off for the annual celebration of Home for the Holidays is Sunday, Dec 7, in the Village of Warwick.
From noon until 5 p.m. visitors will find most downtown shops decorated for the season and offering “open house” events with free refreshments and special offers.
And to get everyone in the holiday spirit, there will be various fun events throughout the downtown area including music and song.
The Warwick Valley Chorale will again be strolling the streets singing traditional Christmas carols. There will also be free horse and buggy rides traveling through the village.
‘Mom and Pop (stores) are the lifeblood of this economy’
Home for the Holidays, which traditionally begins just before Thanksgiving and ends after Christmas, is an annual celebration designed to present downtown Warwick as a fun and convenient place to do all your holiday shopping. And the Warwick merchants want everyone to know that they offer convenience, quality merchandise, special sales, friendly personalized service including gift-wrapping and, in most cases a “wish” list to make things easier for gift-givers.
Throughout the celebration other local organizations will be joining in to play music, sell refreshments, and bring holiday cheer to downtown Warwick.
Santa will be on Railroad Green on Sunday, Dec 7, 14, 20 from 12-3PM
Free horse and buggy rides
HORSE & BUGGY RIDES – Dec. 6 and 7 – (11am-4pm) and potentially an additional weekend, subject to availability, on Dec 18 – “Home for the Holidays” is coming to town! The Warwick Merchants Guild will be hosting free horse & buggy rides around the Village of Warwick. Rides begin on Railroad Ave. and travel down Main St. and South St. to loop around and end back at Railroad Ave.
The rides will depart from Railroad Avenue just outside Railroad Green from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. And Santa will also be coming to Railroad Green to pose with children and take their orders.
