Party in the Park
The Party in the Park is a favorite tradition, evolving from a potluck picnic to a refreshing evening soiree. Tickets are $115 for WHS members, $140 for non-members. Call 845-986-3236 for tickets and information.

The evening includes specialty cocktails provided by Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery and the Last Whisky Bar, a catered dinner by the renowned Landmark Inn, fine wine courtesy of Peck’s Wine & Spirits, and an array of interesting silent and chance auction items up for bid, donated from individuals and local businesses.
Tickets are on Sale now, $80 for WHS members, $100 for non-members includes a Friend level membership and its perks.

National Night Out is on Tuesday, Aug. 5 from 5-8 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Park on Forester Avenue. This free event will include music by the Black Dirt Bandits, Touch-A-Truck, games, vendors, free hot dogs, giveaways and more. This year, the Warwick Historical Society celebrates its 120th Anniversary, and for the first time in many years, our annual Open House falls on our actual birthday — Sunday, April 19. It makes the occasion especially meaningful, and we would love your help in making it a success.
Like last year, from 1:00–4:00 PM, we will open our properties to the public and are seeking volunteer docents to staff each location. Shifts will be divided into:
- 1:00–2:30 PM
- 2:30–4:00 PM
You are welcome to take one shift and explore the other properties on the other half (or do both, if you’re feeling festive!).
To engage our younger residents this year, we are launching a TIME TRAVELERS PASSPORT PROGRAM, made possible in part by a grant from the Warwick Savings Foundation. Children ages 10 and under can pick up a WHS “passport” at Buckbee and must visit each open property to receive a stamp from the docent after answering a simple question about the site. Once they’ve collected all the stamps, they will return to the Buckbee to show their completed passport and select a prize.
This initiative is a wonderful way to engage children while also encouraging families to explore and get involved in all that the Warwick Historical Society has to offer.
If you are available to docent, please reply with your preferred shift time or if you can do either. Participants will receive docent notes at the beginning of April to review and I will have printed copies onsite.
