Prison of Horrors has found its strength in embracing the terror rather than avoiding it. And for the fourth year in a row, we seek to spread that terror to the masses. Our haunts may be an act, but the fear is real- and, for those lucky few, so are the ghosts. Come stay with us awhile, will you? But be careful when you leave us… for fear is infectious.

The first annual Fox Wine Fest will be hosted in our indoor heated dome and will feature 50+ vendors offering samples of wine, cider, beer, cheese, chocolate and more! Live music will be playing throughout the event and there will be bounce houses for the kids. Plus, the Field House will host seminars, workshops and more on all things wine, charcuterie and cooking!
For access to this event you need to purchase a Wine & Food Tasting ticket. On top of that you can add tickets for seminars and workshops.

June 29, 2023 was the opening night for the Florida Summer Concert Series, sponsored by the Florida Chamber of Commerce. The concerts are the last Thursday of the month and held at the Seward-Mapes Homestead Park on S. Main Street.
Whiskey Crossing was the opening band for the season. Music as also provided by Shea Fluery a sophomore at S.S. Seward Institute who not only plays guitar and sings, but writes some of her own music and is working on a music recording that will soon be released on Spotify.
Local scout troops, including Girl Scout Troop 779 (led by Jenn Caldwell and Ashley Dinsmore), Girl Scout Daisy Troop 308 (led by Deonesse Casino and Kelly Santiago) and Pack 44 (led by Tiger Den leader Chris Clifford), were on hand selling cookies, cupcakes, popcorn, pretzels and chips.
Mayor Daniel Harter and the DPW Crew made the park and the stage perfect for the events. The evenings of entertainment are possible thanks to the Chamber members who have helped to sponsor the concerts, which are free and open to the public.
The next concert is set for July 27, 2023 and will feature Rock Underground.

Under the direction of the Greenwood Lakes Elks Lodge on Chestnut Street, this years fest will showcase a revitalized and elevated experience for all ages on Friday, October 14th through Sunday October 15th, 2023.
What makes Greenwood Lake Oktoberfest special is not only its longstanding history as a community with astounding events, but the reach it has across generations of fest-goers with offerings for attendees of all ages. For the adults, Oktoberfest boasts a full Biergarten serving up plenty of German & Craft Beer favorites along with Authentic German Foods next to a full stage lineup of live musical performances from Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra and many more!
