There’s a holiday coming up on April 27th, Yom HaShoah, it’s a day of remembrance for the Holocaust. Rather than remembering through grievance, we want to throw a reflection for PEACE. For when we have peace in this world, such horrific events will never occur again!
Everyone, no matter religion or religious, is welcome to celebrate and we would love to get a crowd!
There will be refreshments, poems, and Beatles tunes to highlight characteristics of the day. We will also hear a story from one of our congregants about his family’s Holocaust journey.
If you want to bring some food or drinks to share, please make sure it’s Kosher! This event is free, though donations are appreciated and keep our doors open. See you there!

The Power of Story
Members of We the People Warwick (WTPW) have been discussing the extraordinary power that personal stories have in connecting, engaging, inspiring, and healing us. Since the beginning of humankind, stories have been the essential building blocks of empathy, human connection, and community. That is why WTPW members are working hard to call forth the stories of struggle, joy, resilience, and just basic humanness that exist in the members of our own community.
