The Party at Glenwood Green, sponsored by the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday August 10, from 6 to 9 pm, is shaping up to be a premier event of the summer. Join your friends and neighbors for an elegant picnic style dinner with distanced seating in groups and ”pods” to ensure maximum safety for all.
Chef Anthony Acevedeo, of Anthony Mario’s Catering, is providing a tasty appetizer and entrée combination along with a vegetarian alternative. Desserts will be provided by Jean Claude’s Patisserie, a “Black Dirt Chocolate Cherry Gateau.” Clemson Brothers Brewing will provide the beer, and there will be a signature cocktail from Black Dirt Distillery. Wines will be provided from area merchants along with soft drinks and lemonade.
Proceeds from the party at Glenwood Green will replenish the Chamber’s Black Dirt Scholarship Fund, which provides three $1500 scholarships to Town of Warwick graduating seniors or current college students. The Party’s proceeds will also allow the chamber to continue its holiday donation program to area food pantries.
Tickets are $70.00 or $75.00, for under the tent seating, per person. Entertainment features Fiddle Frenzy, an energetic group of Warwick string students, who will delight and amaze you with their talent and enthusiasm. Headline entertainment will be County 1, a group of local musical geniuses who can play most any music genre.

2021 Greenwood Lake Air Show

The gates to the Greenwood Lake Air Show will open at 5 PM on Friday, 2 PM on Saturday, and 11 AM on Sunday. Come early to see the historical exhibits, admire the vintage and custom cars entered in the Car Show, and get your seat for an exciting show! Performers will take to the skies at 7:00 PM on Friday night, 5:30 PM Saturday Evening and 1:00 PM on Sunday afternoon. Watch the daredevil antics of the pilots as they push their top of the line aircraft to the limits! GA Tickets can be used for either day.

2021 Greenwood Lake Air Show
Friday, August 13 – Sunday, August 15
The gates to the Greenwood Lake Air Show will open at 5 PM on Friday, 2 PM on Saturday, and 11 AM on Sunday. Come early to see the historical exhibits, admire the vintage and custom cars entered in the Car Show, and get your seat for an exciting show! Performers will take to the skies at 7:00 PM on Friday night, 5:30 PM Saturday Evening and 1:00 PM on Sunday afternoon. Watch the daredevil antics of the pilots as they push their top of the line aircraft to the limits! GA Tickets can be used for either day.
You can be a part of our community’s tribute to the heroes in our lives – past and present. This is your opportunity to honor your personal hero. It could be a member of the military, police, fire, or other first responders who put their lives on the line for us every day. It could be a teacher, coach, mentor, community leader, parent, child, or anyone who has been a hero in your life. By popular demand, we have added a week – the flags will be flown for four weeks this year!
- The flags will be displayed in front of Chateau Hathorn, located at the intersection of County Route 1 and NYS Route 94, Sunday, August 22nd through Sunday, September 19th, 2021. This form can be given to any Warwick Valley Rotary Club member or mailed to: The Warwick Valley Rotary Club c/o Flags for Heroes, PO Box 121, Warwick NY 10990 along with your $50 check made payable to: Warwick Valley Rotary Club.
- You can also pay with a credit card at warwickvalleyrotary.org. If you pay with a credit card, please also submit this form so we know the name of your hero; please email forms or questions to Laura.Barca@hdrinc.com.
- To ensure heroes and sponsors are correctly identified, please honor only one hero per form (one payment may be written to accompany multiple forms).
