Summerfest is coming to the PLAV Pavilion in Pine Island, NY on Sunday, July 14.
Eighteen-time Grammy winner Jimmy Sturr & His Orchestra will be performing starting at 2 p.m.
It has been quite some time since everyone has been able to get out for some fun. This will be one of the first events in the area.
The event will be held rain or shine. Bring your lawn chair and get there early to enjoy the wonderful food provided by the members of the Polish Legion of American Veterans.
There will be music throughout the afternoon including country, big band, Latin and polka. There is plenty of free parking. Tickets will be available at the door.

The Warwick Food Truck Festival will host its first event of the summer from 2 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, at Mountain Lake Park (46 Bowen Road, Warwick).
The family-friendly foodie event will feature food trucks such as 876 Jerk, Allan’s Falafel, Boo’s Kettle Corn, Cousins Maine Lobster, Crumm Cake Cupcakes, Empanada Master, Fruit Fashions, Ice Capps, Jersey Johnny’s Grill, JerseyRollz, Latin-Oh!, ROAM Food Truck, Smoking Grate BBQ, Sue’s House of Fudge, The Bus, as well as vendors Chomped, Melt, Rollin’ Cuisine, and The Wicked Waffle Stick. Local craft beverages will be poured by Callie’s Cocktails, Destination Unknown Brewing Company, Pennings Farm Cidery, Roadie’s Rolling Bars, Round Table Brewery, Rushing Duck Brewing Co., and Tin Barn Brewing. Additional refreshments include Cat-Like Reflexes’ fresh-squeezed lemonade and summer mocktails by Without A Hitch.
Live music will be played throughout the day by NailedShutt Duo, Mimicking Mars, Free Shrimp Band and Dan Brother Band. The festival will also feature shopping and body art with Let’s Face It!, Riley and Madden, Wanderlust Mobile Boutique, and Warwick Henna.
The Warwick Food Truck Festival is a community event hosted by Warwick 501c3 nonprofit Small Things Inc. General admission is $5 with free admission for children 12 and under. Tickets are available at the door and on EventBrite. Proceeds will benefit Small Things Inc. and Warwick Valley Knights of Columbus Council 4952.
Non-perishable food items will be collected for the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry and new socks will be collected for Four Seasons Kids. Donations are accepted as well.
Free parking is available at Mountain Lake Park and free shuttle service will be provided from 4 to 9 p.m. from the Warwick Valley Middle School parking lot. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Dogs are welcome. The event is rain or shine.
