The Florida NY Farmers’ Market is as local as local gets. All produce vendors are from Florida’s black dirt region. They bring a wide variety of products, including over 250 variety of fresh local produce, fresh fruits and berries, pure honey, maple syrup, fresh chicken, eggs and meats, homemade jam and jelly, dried herbs, meat rubs and spices, pickles, fresh baked goods, handmade soaps and more. The Warwick Food Truck Festival will host its first event of the summer from 2 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, at Mountain Lake Park (46 Bowen Road, Warwick).
The family-friendly foodie event will feature food trucks such as 876 Jerk, Allan’s Falafel, Boo’s Kettle Corn, Cousins Maine Lobster, Crumm Cake Cupcakes, Empanada Master, Fruit Fashions, Ice Capps, Jersey Johnny’s Grill, JerseyRollz, Latin-Oh!, ROAM Food Truck, Smoking Grate BBQ, Sue’s House of Fudge, The Bus, as well as vendors Chomped, Melt, Rollin’ Cuisine, and The Wicked Waffle Stick. Local craft beverages will be poured by Callie’s Cocktails, Destination Unknown Brewing Company, Pennings Farm Cidery, Roadie’s Rolling Bars, Round Table Brewery, Rushing Duck Brewing Co., and Tin Barn Brewing. Additional refreshments include Cat-Like Reflexes’ fresh-squeezed lemonade and summer mocktails by Without A Hitch.
Live music will be played throughout the day by NailedShutt Duo, Mimicking Mars, Free Shrimp Band and Dan Brother Band. The festival will also feature shopping and body art with Let’s Face It!, Riley and Madden, Wanderlust Mobile Boutique, and Warwick Henna.
The Warwick Food Truck Festival is a community event hosted by Warwick 501c3 nonprofit Small Things Inc. General admission is $5 with free admission for children 12 and under. Tickets are available at the door and on EventBrite. Proceeds will benefit Small Things Inc. and Warwick Valley Knights of Columbus Council 4952.
Non-perishable food items will be collected for the Warwick Ecumenical Food Pantry and new socks will be collected for Four Seasons Kids. Donations are accepted as well.
Free parking is available at Mountain Lake Park and free shuttle service will be provided from 4 to 9 p.m. from the Warwick Valley Middle School parking lot. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Dogs are welcome. The event is rain or shine.

Cocula Memorial
BLACK BEAR Scholarship Golf Open will take place on
Thursday, again this year. Join us on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at Black Bear Golf Club in Franklin, NJ. We invite you to enjoy an after- noon and evening of golf, good food and fun. All proceeds go to eligible Vernon and Garfield High School students and Sussex County Community College students in the
form of scholarships. The fee of $150 includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch,
dinner, gifts, tournament prizes and door prizes.
Tee off time for this shotgun event is 1.00 pm. Your participation either as a golfer or sponsor in The John Cocula Memorial will provide much needed
scholarships for students. We ask that you mail in your golf registration.

We support learning for all residents by providing library materials, information, technology, and programs for education, enrichment and entertainment. The Library serves the residents of the Florida Union Free School District of Orange County, New York.
The tools and equipment in our Library of Things collection are for use by patrons 18 years of age or older with a valid library card in good standing from any RCLS member library. Patrons may borrow up to two tools or pieces of equipment at a time. The lending period is 7 days with a late fee of $2 per day. All items must be picked up from the library as well as cleaned and returned to the library during open hours. Florida patrons may reserve items in the collection using the Library’s online catalog (items below are linked to our catalog for your convenience) or by calling the Library at (845) 651-7659. Non-Florida patrons will need to call the library to place a hold.
Review the Library of Things Waiver and Indemnification Form for details. This form will need to be signed by the patron at the time of checkout.
