Last December brought the premiere performance of the SLPAC’s production of The Nutcracker. Co-directed by Lucinda Henry and Melissa Padham-Maass with Musical Direction by Richard F. Regan, the holiday classic was performed with professional dancers, a live orchestra and local dancers and adults from the community. The show was a huge success; with sold out performances and raving audience reviews.
Peter Sivo, an Orange County resident, who up until this year drove to Princeton NJ every holiday season to see The Nutcracker, stated “Saturday’s performance simply blew me away especially with the live orchestra. What a show! . . . we’re there every year you put on this production.” This year the Nutcracker will be held from December 10th-13th at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center.
