Ignatius of Loyola is the story of an extraordinary missionary disciple of Jesus Christ. It is a stirring drama, an epic adventure, and a portrait of an intimate and profound friendship with the Lord. I was inspired by the incredible story of holiness in this movie, and you will be too.

March 26, 2017: From the Pastor’s Desk
Above And Beyond
St. Stephen’s parishioners once again demonstrated the corporal and spiritual works of mercy when they went down to New York City to bring food, clothing and supplies to the homeless on Friday, March 24.
Once again, Eileen Astorino and Cathy Quinn led a group of adults and teens delivering the many items donated by the parishioners. Thanks to all the other adults who drove down and supervised the youth.
Thanks to all who made sandwiches and soup. Thanks to the youth who learned an important faith lesson and learned not to take whatever they have for granted.
I can truly understand that parents of small children may move out into the atrium during Mass. But I do have yet to understand when an adult without children hangs out during Mass in the atrium with cell phone in hand. That is not attending Mass.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: Our deacons can also bless religious objects. Please inform the rectory when a loved one is in the hospital. There will be no Holy Hour on March 24. Confirmation will take place.
