Consignment Shops in Warwick NY and Vernon NJ

Warwick NY and Vernon NJ consignment & thrift shops sells goods for an owner. For consumers, the shop owner qualifies each item to ensure that it meets certain standards for that shop, merchandises the item(s), and carefully maintains records for subsequent transactions.

For the owner of the item(s), the shop owner can be an active merchant. If you, for example, consign a table and chairs for $150, and the shop sells your furniture, they take their 50% or $75. You receive $75. If the table and chairs don’t sell, then you take your items home for no charge. (Some places do charge a small “activation” or consignment fee.)

Thrift shops generally accept donations of items and then resell them (if possible) to raise funds for a charitable organization.
