Chef Dishes Out Holiday Spirit During Dining Events & Experiences at The Grange Restaurant, Warwick, NY

What/Who/When: The holiday season at The Grange offers a variety of dining experiences throughout December. Dine on Chef Haurey’s unique culinary fare while catching a classic film; feast on an intimate piano performance while eating dinner during the Monday Music series; and tempt your palette with a unique multi-course menu featuring dishes created with the season’s favorite locally grown and produced ingredients paired with wine.

The multi-course family style dinner is always in Chef’s signature style featuring locally grown, raised and crafted produce, meats and dairy. 4-Course Prix Fixe Family-Style Meal & Movie $50/person + tax & gratuity. December 12, 6:30-8:30pm: Dinner with a Side of Piano/Mitch Schechter. It’s the return of Mitch Schechter, a top-rate pianist, composer and arranger who has displayed his wares with like-minded musicians including trumpeter Vinnie Cutro and trombonist Erick Storckman. Mitch will grace diners with an evening of all original piano music. Live piano accompanies dinner every Monday evening featuring a different pianist each week. December 19, 6:30-8:30pm: Dinner with a Side of Piano/Richard Kimball: Richard Kimball is back again with original piano performances on the entertainment menu. Kimball graces diners with his unique brand of jazz standards and the American Songbook. Live piano accompanies dinner every Monday evening featuring a different pianist each week. Although Richard is well known in New York for his 37+ years as in-house pianist at the world famous River Cafe in Brooklyn, he’s a hidden gem in our Warwick, NY community. December 1-31, Pen & Ink Digital Color Art Exhibit:  Nyssa Shaw-Smith Gendelman is an artist living and working in New York City. Originally from Warwick, NY, Nyssa’s work features a combination of hand-drawn pen-and-ink and digital coloring on display from December 1 – 31, 2016. A self-taught artist, Gendelman’s portraits emphasize the interplay between bold colors and the human form. She is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree at New York University. December 24, 6:00pm: Christmas Eve 4-Course Holiday Dinner: Celebrate Christmas Eve with a special 4-course dinner and wine pairing (optional). Cozy up to the warmth of the fire and relish in sharing signature dishes from The Grange for a special holiday meal. Chef Jim Haurey will prepare a menu of traditional and signature unique dishes. B.Y.O.V.  Holiday music will be spinning on the turntable, but please feel free to Bring Your Own Vinyl and have your favorite holiday tune played just for you.
